It's hard to stay mindful in certain situations, and sometimes we need a gentle reminder to bring us back to our mindfulness practice. Place these around your home or at your office so that when you look at it, it will serve you as a reminder to pause bring yourself back to the present moment.
The simplest thing you can do to calm and recenter yourself is to bring awareness to your breathe, inhale and exhale. A few deep breathes before answering an email, entering a meeting, or attending a family function, anything really that gives you some sense of anxiety you can pause, take in some deep breathes and you are ready to take anything on.
